POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Application Developer with deep, hands-on expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse to design and deliver enterprise-grade business applications across Sales Operations and Customer Support globally.

This is a senior, business-facing role. The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to the business able to speak the language of stakeholders, anticipate operational needs, and translate them into intuitive, scalable Power Apps solutions. Beyond delivery, this role is accountable for defining best-in-class workflows, applying proven design patterns, and setting standards for how Power Platform is used across the organization.

The role bridges Business, IT, and the Power Platform COE, ensuring solutions are not only functional, but fit for purpose, governed, and built with long-term sustainability in mind...

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Power Apps Solution Leadership
  • Lead the end-to-end design and development of enterprise Power Apps, with a strong emphasis on Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.
  • Design applications that simplify complex business processes and improve user adoption across global, multi-site teams.
  • Define and apply best practices for UX, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Power Apps, guiding design decisions and challenging sub-optimal requirements.

  • Workflow Design & Process Automation
  • Design and implement best-in-class Power Automate workflows, including approvals, exception handling, orchestration, and system integrations.
  • Re-engineer inefficient manual processes into modern, automated, and scalable workflows.
  • Leverage practical experience to recommend what “good” looks like, not just what is technically possible.
  • Support RPA where required for legacy system automation.

  • Integration & Data Enablement
  • Integrate Power Apps with SAP, Dataverse, Azure services, SQL, SharePoint, and enterprise APIs.
  • Support ETL, data integration, and data transformation scenarios across multiple enterprise systems and platforms.
  • Use Power BI primarily as an embedded or supporting capability within Power Apps, with a good understanding of semantic models and solution integration.
  • Support enterprise data models and ensure solutions align with EDW and data governance standards.

  • Custom Development & Extensibility
  • Design and implement Dataverse extensions using plug-ins, custom business logic, and other pro-code components where needed.
  • Build front-end extensions using Custom Web Resources (HTML, JavaScript), PCF controls, and Model-Driven App client-side scripting.
  • Develop robust JavaScript customizations for forms, commands, events, and user experience enhancements in Model-Driven Apps.
  • Recommend the right balance between no-code / low-code capabilities and custom development to meet enterprise requirements.

  • Business Partnership & Advisory
  • Work directly with senior business stakeholders to understand underlying needs, not just stated requests.
  • Anticipate future business requirements and proactively propose Power App-based solutions.
  • Translate business objectives into clear solution designs, balancing speed, scalability, and governance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, influencing how processes should work — not simply coding to existing designs.

  • Governance, Standards & Lifecycle Management
  • Own adherence to Power Platform governance, including environments, security roles, DLP policies, and ALM.
  • Promote and operationalize deployment standards across Dev / Test / Prod.
  • Partner with IT and the Power Platform COE to continuously improve standards, templates, and reusable components.
  • Serve as a role model for high-quality Power Platform development.

  • Strong experience with front-end extensibility, including Custom Web Resources (HTML / JavaScript), PCF Controls, and Model-Driven App JavaScript.
