Title:  Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production operations to ensure safety, productivity, output, and cycle time targets are achieved.
  • Lead production teams to achieve KPI objectives and drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives.
  • Coordinate day-to-day manufacturing activities, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, staffing, and employee relations.
  • Develop and execute short-term operational plans aligned with business goals, including budgeting, workforce planning, and performance management.
  • Foster a high-performance work environment through coaching, employee development, empowerment, and team engagement.
  • Monitor team performance, provide guidance and training, and ensure effective execution of production activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and corrective action processes to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production Planning, Materials, Purchasing, Engineering, and other stakeholders to optimize manufacturing processes and product performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in a high-mix and/or low-mix manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience leading production teams and managing workforce performance in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, coaching, and team development capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities, production demands, and operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and production-related systems.
  • Good command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working with high-performance, self-directed teams and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
