Title: Sr Electronic Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY:
To support manager / Leading Engineer and take responsibility on new program development, where design, evaluation of circuits, component, qualification testing and communication across functional teams.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and follow up project development

- To have electrical circuit design (including magnetic & thermal design) & analysis independently.
- To support schematic capture & PCB design with CAD engineers
- To have circuit simulations & reports
- To support manual bench works & ATE test
- To communicate with FAE, customers & other across functional teams
- FA & debugging

- To resolve technical issues
- To have power up debugging & waveforms' capture in each design stages
- Design documentation

- To support customer specification & technical requirement reviews
- To review test reports and technical documents for customers
- To take responsibility for task meeting & design review minutes

- To provide technical support for standard product applications per customer / marketing / FAE request
- To support FAE and Factory FA Engineers for resolving issues on RMA units
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Regularly work in Taiwan office and lab. Occasionally travel to Philippines factory or Customer site for on-site support.

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in electronic design of switching mode power supply; Experience in Hyperscale projects is highly preferred
- Solid experience on research & development of server power supply
- Strong knowledge of power electronics and bench work; knowledge of firmware programming is an advantage
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Junior Engineer
EDUCATION:
Bachelor Degree in Power Electronics or Electronic / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
