Title:  Manager, Program Management

OVERALL MISSION / PURPOSE

Job scope includes both program management and process improvement. Responsible for leading cross-functional teams to develop and to launch products on time, on budget and to the specification. Also comply with continuity of supply, service capability, sales volumes/financials and customer experience.

 

KEY RESULTS AREAS / DUTIES,  RESPONSIBILITIES & TIME SPENT ON THE DUTY

1. Generate program plan, development schedule and master build plan

  • Drive BOM loading, materials availability, factory build and samples delivery
  • Drive materials, tooling and factory capacity to align with customer demand
  • Conduct Phase/Gate Exit Review Meetings and track sign-off completion of exit checklists

 

2. Responsible for development of new programs and Engineering product reviews

  • Monitor new product development deliverables against plan with quality
  • Coordinate customer conference calls during product development

 

3. Working closely with team and upper management

  • Assist other Program Managers to meet department deliverables 
  • Work closely with operations in order to meet customer demands

 

4. Accountability with high energy level and stress tolerance

  • Ability to cope with a hectic schedule, unrelenting pressure, and difficult situations
  • Composed and calm under stress, problem-focused, confident and decisive

JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY REQUIRED

1. Knowledge 

  • At least 7 years work experience in program management, design, manufacturing or materials functions of power supply
  • Technical knowledge with strong understanding of design engineering tools in power supply or server, switch, storage systems
  • Strong understanding of new products development cycle
  • Graduate of any Engineering course
  • General understanding of continued improvement
