Title: Lead Mechanical Engineer
Job Descriptions
Responsible for mechanical structure and stress analysis related tasks in TW to support and provide deliverables throughout the design standardization, RFQ & Platform development, New Program Introduction (NPI) development and Legacy models in accordance with customer requirements, regulatory standards and company quality policy.
Aims are - satisfactory result of OTD (On time Delivery) against the committed schedule, high-quality, cost-effective design, and customer satisfaction in multiple projects simultaneously as well as in good quality results.
- To support mechanical structure and stress analysis related activities including simulation and verification.
- To work with customer / factory requests of changes or solution for improving production model
- Be able to support mechanical design activities like mechanical structure design, mechanical stress verification, mechanical drawing delivering, customer and cross-department communication.
- To conduct CRTM, test / design check report, Tolerance analysis report, design document for customer approval.
- To provide support to the team in platform development, standardization development and legacy model activities
Requirements
- Proficiency in Mech. Simulation tools; Ansys Mechanical. Experience in structural or stress analysis.
- Proficiency in CAD tools; SolidWorks
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good organized/planning for handling multiple projects and tasks
- Good written/spoken mandarin/English and strong communication skill to handle communication with internal and external parties
- Sheet metal / plastic parts / mechanism design, tooling and manufacturing experience. Able to use data to drive for design/decision.
Candidate with less experience may be considered for the position of Senior Engineer, Mechanical.
