JOB TITLE:  Field Applications Engineer

Responsibility:

  1. Be the key account FAE for Samsung and other customers/distributors in Korea region.
  2. Act as the key focal point between customers and AE design team on all matters during product development and qualification.
  3. Utilize strong combination of technical and relationship skills to engage with customer, as to position and leverage AE’s technology for new opportunities. 
  4. Prepare product recommendations by reviewing customer specification/performance requirements, schematics, drawings, plans, and related customer documents.
  5. Provide Technical Support and resolve application issues for customers.
  6. Provide product training to local sales team and distributors.                                                                         
  7. Be part of a cross functional team including sales, engineering, Marketing, manufacturing, and operations to support customer.
  8. Project a positive, professional image and maintains effective working relationships with customers and become their trusted advisor.
  9. Collaborate and assist other FAEs and Technical Support Engineers in Asia and Globally on common customer programs and issues.

    10. Support all global technical support activities (training, workshop, etc).

 

Requirement:

  1. Qualified candidates will possess a MSEE/BSEE or Technical Electrical/Electronic degree.
  2. Minimum 2-5 year work experience in power supply design or application support.
  3. Experience in circuitry/component trouble shooting and root cause analysis.
  4. Strong communication and presentation skills.
  5. Knowledge of mechanical and electronic assembly processes.

     6.  Good English written and verbal skills.
