Job Summary

The Production Planner - M&C is responsible for developing and executing structured Materials and Capacity (M&C) production plans to meet operational demands. Collaborates closely with the materials support team to ensure timely material availability and maintain uninterrupted production flow. Plans factory loading, evaluates capacity, and organizes resources effectively. Drives achieve revenue targets by setting clear, measurable objectives. Ensures on-time delivery for both internal and external stakeholders by proactively monitoring material readiness and aligning it with production schedules. This will report to Planning Manager.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate and maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS) master data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Plan and optimize daily production loading aligned with available capacity and operational capabilities.
  • Review and synchronize weekly rolling (3-month) production loading plans with Industrial Engineering (IE) and Operations teams.
  • Drive on-time delivery performance by aligning production schedules with customer and business requirements.
  • Coordinate with Material Planners and Buyers to ensure timely kit completion based on material in-house dates.
  • Monitor daily production performance, address variances, and implement recovery plans for any operational shortfalls.
  • Resolve capacity constraints by expediting resources to support demand surges, pull-ins, and production increases.
  • Communicate production plans, risks, and performance updates across all levels, ensuring continuity of supply and alignment with business objectives despite material shortages.
  • Always adheres to quality standards and safety guidelines.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (BSIE), Information Technology (BSIT), Computer Science, or any related 4-year course.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in production planning, scheduling, or materials planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Master Production Scheduling (MPS), capacity planning, and production control processes.
