General Accounting Manager

Position Summary:
Oversees all accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting by leading a team of accountants, establishing internal controls, reviewing financial transactions, preparing financial statements and maintaining compliance with the accounting standards both for local and US GAAP.
Responsible for the overall integrity of the company’s financial records and play a key role in decision making based on financial records.
Responsibilities:
1.Manage the General Accounting section.
- Leads the General Accounting Section of the Finance Department, assigning tasks and providing guidance on the accounting procedures
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to prevent fraud and safeguard of company’s assets
- Implement and monitor compliance with the accounting policies and procedures.
2.Process the monthly financial reports, balance sheets and profit and loss are released on time and accurate.
- Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements of the company.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data by review and approval of journal entries, accounts reconciliation and balance sheet analysis.
3. Ensure financial reports complies with the accounting, tax rules and regulations and takes the lead during internal and external audits.
- Work hand in hand with the Tax Section to ensure compliance with the local tax rules and regulations.
- Coordinate with the external auditors, providing necessary documentations and supporting information during audits

Qualifications:
1.Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree in accountancy and must be a CPA
2.At least 7+ years of General Accounting work experience
3.Good written and spoken English communication skills
4.Knowledgeable in Accounting standards and principles, Oracle and MS Office
5.Must have the ability to work in a cross-cultural team, assertive, good leadership, team player, and flexible
6.Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and able to meet deadlines
7.Self-starter with organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
