Job Summary
The IQC Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing incoming quality control operations to ensure all incoming materials comply with company standards, customer requirements, and applicable industry specifications. This role oversees the inspection, qualification, and acceptance of incoming materials while ensuring compliance with quality management systems and regulatory standards. The position is also responsible for developing inspection processes, managing IQC personnel, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring effective implementation of quality procedures and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all incoming materials are inspected in accordance with AEI standards and quality requirements.
- Manage and oversee part qualification activities to ensure compliance with established procedures.
- Lead and supervise IQC inspectors, technicians, and group leaders to achieve operational and quality objectives.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve IQC inspection and qualification processes.
- Oversee day-to-day IQC operations and ensure adherence to quality control standards.
- Represent the IQC department during customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.
- Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for IQC personnel.
- Identify opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives within IQC processes and systems.
- Create, review, and maintain inspection instructions, procedures, and work standards.
- Ensure all IQC-related procedures are properly implemented, followed, and regularly updated.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
- Prepare, review, and publish IQC reports and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and support improvement projects.
- Facilitate training programs and skill development initiatives for IQC team members.
- Conceptualize and implement programs to improve part inspection, qualification, and overall quality systems.
- Enforce company policies and issue disciplinary actions when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Incoming Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or related quality functions.
