Job Summary

The Facilities Manager oversees the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of the production facility, ensuring all building systems, utilities, and maintenance programs support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The Facilities Manager will manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs, oversee facility‑related projects, and ensure reliable operation of critical systems while maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

In addition, this role works closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to drive operational efficiency, cost effectiveness, and continuous improvement across all facilities functions. This position will report to Facilities Director, APAC.  

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily facility operations to ensure all building systems and utilities function reliably and efficiently.
  • Develop and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to support continuous operations.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of critical facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, compressed air, and water systems.
  • Ensure adherence to local regulations, building codes, and environmental and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Oversee and coordinate third‑party service providers, including security, janitorial, waste management, and maintenance contractors.
  • Develop, manage, and control the operating facilities budget, covering utilities, maintenance expenses, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.
  • Drive cost‑optimization initiatives while maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and operational performance.
  • Lead and develop facilities and maintenance teams through effective supervision, coaching, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across facilities operations.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • With 15 years of experience in Facilities Management within electronics, semiconductor or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong expertise in building systems, utilities, and maintenance management for manufacturing facilities, including system troubleshooting and operational optimization.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing major internal stakeholders, contractors, and cross‑functional teams while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
