Job Summary
The Test Manager oversees a team of engineers and technicians responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining test methods, hardware, and software. Ensures the effective and timely implementation of test plans within defined cost and specification requirements. Leads preventive maintenance and repair activities for all test equipment, including Automated Test Equipment (ATE), test fixtures, In‑Circuit Test systems, and measurement instruments, while directing calibration and reliability programs to maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Test and Burn-In Maintenance Operations
- Oversee maintenance activities for Mainline, Daughter Boards, and CM operations.
- Direct engineers and technicians responsible for test and burn-in hardware/software setups for both mass production and new product operations.
- Ensure test plans and methods are implemented effectively within time, cost, and specification parameters.
- Maintain regular preventive maintenance and repairs of production testing equipment.
- Provide guidance on testability and contribute to overall product quality.
Manage New Product Test and Burn-In Operations
- Supervise new product tests and burn-in activities, ensuring requirements from design engineering and customers are met.
- Monitor and support all hardware and software requirements from new product introduction through mass production.
- Standardize test strategies and methodologies from initial setup to production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve appropriate test setups and methods for hardware and software.
Ensure Compliance with Safety Standards
- Implement and monitor Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC) reviews and updates.
- Promote active participation in preventing safety incidents and first-aid cases.
- Encourage reporting of near misses, unsafe acts, and non-compliance with company safety programs.
- Ensure timely submission of incident investigations to the EHS team within 24 hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree graduate preferably Engineering
- With at least 8 years of relevant experience

Proven background in test engineering, product engineering, burn‑in operations, and full Electronic Manufacturing Product Lifecycle from NPI to mass production.

Strong expertise in continuous improvement, including Lean Manufacturing, productivity optimization, and problem‑solving tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Whys.

Hands-on experience in SMART Manufacturing and automation technology implementation across operations.

Demonstrated leadership in multi‑site operations, collaborating effectively with global Operations, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams while managing complex projects focused on performance, cost, and manufacturability.Solid understanding of quality systems (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) and strong proficiency in SAP, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
