Title:  Sr Facilities Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:

General experience in Facilities Technician role for the global Facilities organization in precision power

Supply manufacturing factory for semiconductor, industrial and medical systems applications.

Expected fundamental roles & responsibilities include handle facilities operations & maintenance, repair of Facilities equipment and critical building concerns/problems. This role supports the overall facility operations to minimize downtime and ensure a safe working environment

 

This position is to direct report to a Senior Facilities Engineer which is part of the Global Real Estate &

Facilities team.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, air compressors, motors, plumbing systems, Fire Protection System and Electrical System
  • Monitor and maintain Facilities equipment performance and report any abnormalities or failures.
  • Assists Facilities Engineer with day-to-day projects and special projects.
  • Assists Facilities Engineer with design of Facilities equipment/control as needed.
  • Conduct repairs or replacements of faulty mechanical/electrical components using appropriate tools and methods.
  • Work closely with other technicians and departments to support facility operations and resolve system issues.
  • Assist in commissioning, testing, and validation of new mechanical installations or upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures during all work activities.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform corrective actions promptly.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for outsourced repair or maintenance works when required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Works in a standard office environment and uses general office equipment (phone, PC, copier, etc.).
  • Attends Facilities meetings and facilitate improvement of the Facilities equipment system. Should be familiar with all work environments at AE. 
  • Require to monitor the operations of Laguna plant
  • Need to respond to emergency facility-related situations

 

SKILLS:

  • Good communication skills, both written and oral with English and leadership skills.
  • Sound knowledge of building maintenance, mechanical and electrical (M&E) operations, and maintenance, technical services, or construction projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes of a government agency
  • Familiar with MS office software and CMMS
  • Familiar with the building management system will be an added advantage
  • Project management skills.
  • Analytical skills to perform engineering calculations for design and troubleshooting

 

 

QUALIFICATION:

  • Candidate must possess Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  • Preferably 3 to 5 years of work experience as a facilities technician in Facilities Operations and industrial set-up.
  • Professional License (Passed Board/License Exam – Registered Master Electrician / Master Plumber) is an advantage.
  • TESDA certificate (Electrical / DOMRAC)
  • Work experience in leading facilities team of 3rd party facilities technicians, janitorial services, security services, and contractors.
