Title:  Senior Developer - Application Development

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

This role is responsible for technical development and support for one or more eTrace modules for all Advance Energy sites. eTrace is the Warehouse and Shopfloor execution system for the EP factories which will be rolled out to other sites and future acquisitions if any.  This role will take ownership of technical development and support of other applications, with the purpose to support manufacturing activities and fulfill business requirement.

 

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Development and Support for eTrace (SOX) – Primary responsibility
  • Work with Business Analyst to understand user requirement and technical solution.
  • Work with other team members in the development, coding, testing and debugging of applications.
  • Provide sustaining support to eTrace with enhancement releases and data maintenance adhering to IT Change Management Processes.

 

  1. Standardization, Rollout of etrace to Other sites – Additional Responsibility
  • Work with project manager to peform technical assessment of rolling out eTrace to Other AP facilities.
  • Work with project manager to preparing an execution plan and seamless go live as per the plan with minimal impact to operations, as well as the contingency plan to handle any possible exception.

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

 

Works in a standard office environment and uses general office equipment (telephone, PC, copier, fax machine, etc.).

Works under general supervision.

 

SKILLS:

 

  1. Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Proficient in HTML and related web technologies
  • Proficient in .NET development (ASP, VB, C#) at least 1 year of experience
  • Proficient in MS SQL Server at least 1 year of experience
  • Has a knowledge in Bootstrap and UI designing
  • Background in Bitbucket and Jira is a plus

EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

Minimum of ten years of experience in Business Systems development/support is required.

 

Desirable:

Experience of development and support of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).

 

EDUCATION:

Essential:

Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems major in in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent education.

 

Desirable:

Education/knowledge of WMS (warehouse management system), MES (manufacturing execution system) and ERP (Enterprise resource planning) system.
