About Supply Chain Data Analyst role:
In your role as a Supply Chain Analyst at AE, you will be essential in addressing the data and analytics needs as we progress with our digital transformation.
As an enthusiastic Data Analyst, you'll advocate decisions based on data insights. You'll help internal teams shift from conventional practices to uncovering valuable insights. Data Analysts will assist the organization in transitioning from descriptive analytics to diagnostic and predictive stages by extracting insights and introducing new techniques for decision-making.
Moreover, you will aid in our digital transformation by facilitating discovery and inception sessions with the product owner or manager.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the supply chain function from industry professionals and to grow within the Analytics space.
The daily responsibilities for this role will be divided between ad-hoc tasks and project-based deliverables. Candidates can expect to engage in ad-hoc analysis as well as being assigned to projects with specific outcomes.
To succeed in this role, candidates should be adaptable and comfortable with continuous learning and delivery. This will enable them to support short-term goals effectively and contribute to long-term initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support product owners in facilitating discovery sessions and requirements for workshops for business users.
- Document discovery sessions data flow and process flow, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
- Identify data sources, collect data through manual or automated means, source missing data, and clean, transform, and organize data into a usable format.
- Design, develop, and deploy reports and dashboards utilizing data visualization and generate business presentations and formal written reports to communicate the results of data analysis effectively.
- Plan and execute master data consolidation and metadata documentation projects with product owners.
- Support product owners with project documentation.
- Train and support the Internal Data Champion through coaching and mentoring.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in the domain of business analytics.
- Proven experience working with senior business stakeholders.
- Proven experience with Power BI & DAX for analytics and data visualization.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python or PySpark, with the ability to write production-ready code.
- A sound understanding of the data modeling concepts and their applications across various use cases.
- Experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain is highly desirable.
- Experience with data science techniques and predictive methods for statistical quality and forecasting analysis is highly desirable.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Databricks or Azure.
- Familiarity with data governance, master data, and metadata management.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira & confluence.
- Knowledge of SAP S4 and understanding relevant data tables is a significant plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of Figma and UX principles is a significant plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, and UiPath is a significant plus but not mandatory.
