Title:  Regional Payroll Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to APAC Payroll Manager, the Regional Payroll Analyst will be managing the end-to-end payroll activities for the assigned payroll entities. Candidate must have the ability to manage the external payroll vendors and internal payroll system as well as providing support to the team members across all regional companies. This role will be integral in ensuring accurate process of payroll related data.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all payroll are process accurately, timely and in accordance with country local requirements
  • Manage the collation and review of payroll data to ensure all inputs and outs are accurate.
  • Responsible for post payroll activites – provide GL and accrual for assigned company payroll entities.
  • Responsible for monthly statutory and tax payments and compliance with country local requirements.
  • Working closely with HR, Finance, Stock Admin and other various internal stakeholders to ensure the processing are compliant and updated according to each country’s policy.
  • Assist in external and internal audits as they pertain to payroll documents.
  • Produce and distribute standard management reports.
  • Supporting and driving payroll special projects.
  • Respond to employees’ payroll enquires in a timely manner

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Works in a standard office environment and uses general office equipment (phone, PC, copier, fax machine etc.).

  • Good PC skills. Prefer experience using Microsoft Office products
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage payroll records
  • Data entry skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner

 

EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

  • 4-6 years in a similar role with demonstrable knowledge and experience in managing APAC payroll and external payroll vendors and in-house payroll
  • Knowledge and experience in processing equity compensation in payroll eg. ESPP Stock Options/Awards, RSU, etc.

 

Desirable:

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with larger ERP or SAP

 

EDUCATION:

Essential:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Business Administration or related
