Position Summary
The Data Analyst will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision making across quality and manufacturing operations. The role focuses on data exploration, statistical analysis, dashboarding and building analytical models that support predictive failure analysis and continuous improvement. While not mandatory, candidates with experience in data engineering (ETL, data pipelines, database optimization) will have an advantage. The ideal candidate is strong in analytics first, with the ability to work with structured and unstructured datasets from multiple factory systems.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate discovery sessions with business users to understand processes, data needs and problem statements. Document data and process flow
- Collect, clean and analyze large datasets from production large system such as RMA, testing, SPC, MES etc.
- Perform statistical analysis, trend studies and correlation assessments to identify patterns and root causes.
- Build analytical and predictive models (e.g., anomaly detection, failure pattern identification).
- Support predictive quality initiatives through data insights and modeling.
- Work closely with engineering, test and MQE teams to convert business needs into analytics requirements
- Develop dashboards and visual reports using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
- Present insights & analytical summaries to stakeholders in a clear, concise and actionable manner.
Experience & Skills:
- 2–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar analytical role.
- Experience in manufacturing, operations or quality analytics is a plus.
- Exposure to data engineering or pipeline development is advantageous but not required.
- Experience contributing to machine learning or predictive analytics projects is beneficial
- Ability to work with senior-level business stakeholders
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools or workflow orchestration.
- Exposure to data engineering concepts such as data pipelines or data modeling.
- Familiarity with big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop) or cloud analytics platforms (Azure, Databricks)
- Jira & Confluence (project documentation tools)
- SAP S4 (knowledge of data tables as a plus)
- Power Apps, Power Automate, UiPath (automation tools)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Knowledge of statistical methods and predictive modeling concepts.
- Clear communication and ability to explain complex insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and organization skills.
- Collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Information Systems or related field
