Job Summary
The Manufacturing Quality Technician is executing product and process controls per the control plan in conjunction with the Plant’s production & engineering teams. Lead 8D problem resolution process for internal and external raised concern which includes close interaction with mainline Manufcaturing Quality Engineers and SMT operations and support team on the problem resolution updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the ongoing compliance to the production control plans and other manufacturing process requirements
- Ensures compliance to the containment, rework, and inspection processes for non-conforming product. Leads disposition of non-conforming product and ensures timely disposition.
- Quality lead on problem solving team and for Fast Response System. Responsible for driving the problem-solving process including tool use, confirming 8D content and meeting customer and/or internal response time requirements.
- Resolve quality issues by identifying problems, examining solution options and implementing action plans
- Has the authority and the responsibility to stop any process or product delivery in case of a non-conformance of customer expectations, safety, or environmental risks.
- Release and/or review Purging Notice, Quality Alerts, CTQs, MRB, RMA, ECO, PRS and WIS in the absence of Quality Engineer.
Ensures timely and accurate ECO implementation that affects SMT assemblies.
Release CTQs when issues come up
Review Purging notice - Regularly geenrate/release reports (weekly/monthly) and other monthly report and released to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Technical / Vocational graduate Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing / Quality or related experience.
- Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in electronic components, their aoperation, and applications.
- Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in cross-cultural teams.
- Assertive, adaptable, and a strong team player with good leadership qualities.
