Responsibilities
- Handle activities related to the layout, design and routing of Schematics and Printed Circuit Boards (PCB)
- Act on high-frequency, high-density PCB designs of moderate to high complexity switch-mode power conversion
- Work on low-wattage of few hundred Watts to high-wattage tens of kW power supply PCB Designs
- Work on layout of digital control boards
- Act as liaison to Advanced Engineering EE and Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering, Agency Compliance and PCB vendors
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
Requirements
- BS degree in ECE, EE and COE
- At least 8 years of experience in PCB Design and Layout (Preferably on high-density switch-mode power conversion and digital control boards)
- Extensive experience in Cadence PCB Design tools
- Strong background in power supply design
- Background in RF a plus
- Exposure to customer electronics R&D or design for manufacturability an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player in a multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment with a strong sense of ownership
