Position Summary

Join a dynamic and highly skilled team of embedded software professionals working on cutting‑edge digital power solutions. As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will design and develop high‑performance embedded firmware for advanced power conversion products used in data center/server, medical, and industrial applications. This role offers strong technical ownership, cross‑disciplinary collaboration, and opportunities to deepen expertise in modern firmware and control systems.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, debugging, and optimization of embedded firmware for MCUs and digital controllers used in digital power products
  • Provide technical leadership in firmware architecture, coding standards, and best practices
  • Own firmware modules end‑to‑end, from requirements analysis and design to validation and deployment
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, power electronics, and systems engineers to drive system‑level solutions
  • Analyze, implement, and optimize control algorithms for AC‑DC and DC‑DC converters
  • Drive root‑cause analysis of complex firmware and system issues and recommend robust solutions
  • Perform and lead code reviews, ensuring quality, maintainability, and performance
  • Develop and execute firmware validation and verification plans, including functional, regression, and stress testing
  • Support bring‑up and debugging of new hardware platforms
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior‑level firmware engineers
  • Ensure compliance with relevant coding, safety, and quality standards
  • Author and maintain high‑quality technical documentation, including architecture, design specifications, and theory of operation
  • Support cross‑site and cross‑functional collaboration and ensure smooth technology transfer
  • Communicate technical concepts, risks, and design decisions clearly to stakeholders and customers

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of firmware or embedded software development experience (preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in C programming
  • Hands‑on experience with MCU and DSP‑based systems
  • Knowledge of object‑oriented design principles and/or digital control systems is a plus
  • Proven ability to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team player with a high sense of ownership and accountability
  • Comfortable working in a multi‑cultural, multi‑disciplinary global organization
