Role Summary

 

We are looking for a highly skilled Test Lead with deep expertise The Test Lead is a senior QA professional responsible for defining testing strategies, managing the testing team, and ensuring the overall quality of software releases. Key responsibilities include creating test plans, conducting requirement analysis, managing test environments, monitoring execution, reporting metrics to stakeholders, and identifying defects, usually working within agile or SDLC frameworks.  The Test Lead is key to our successful execution of releases as part of our global S4 HANA rollout..

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Core Test Lead Responsibilities

 

  • Test Planning & Strategy: Develops comprehensive test plans and strategies, defining the scope, resources, and schedule for testing cycles.
  • Requirement Analysis: Analyzes requirements to ensure they are testable and clear, identifying potential ambiguities
  • Test Execution & Monitoring: Oversees testing activities, ensuring that testing meets, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Defect Management: Identifies, documents, and tracks bugs to resolution using tracking tools, ensuring high-priority issues are resolved.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Communicates test progress, risks, and test metrics (e.g., test coverage, bug metrics) to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Tool & Infrastructure: Management: Manages test environments, test data, and automation frameworks, ensuring the team has necessary resources.
  • Continuous Improvement: Enhances testing processes by implementing best practices, such as adopting automation or improving test documentation.

 

  • Key Skills Required

 

  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of testing tools such as Tricentis Tosca and test automation techniques.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate between developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Ability to guide, motivate, and manage a team to meet project goals.
  • Analytical Thinking: Critical thinking to identify gaps in testing and prioritize tasks effectively.

 

  • Required Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Strong knowledge of testing and quality in an S4 HANA release environment
  • Ability to analyze problems, derive detailed requirements, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively bridge technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management, business process owners and end-users.
  • Commitment to ensuring all applications meet security, audit, governance, and regulatory standards.
  • An active hands-on doer who earns trust, inspires their team, builds collaborative relationships, and leads by example
  • Strong communicator including interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills

 

Experience

 

  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience working in a global corporate environment working with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people and influence action
  • Experience working closely with internal management groups globally and ability to provide direction and support as well as monitoring for results
  • Experience testing applications in SAP S4 HANA (private cloud)

 

Work Environment:

 

  • Works in a standard office environment utilizing standard office equipment.
  • Works in team and individual environments.
  • May work weekends and overtime when necessary.
  • Ability to travel as needed, both domestic and international

 

Education - Bachelor’s degree
