Job Summary:
Advanced Energy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Intern to support the Quality Engineering team. The intern will assist in activities related to yield improvement, data analytics, and quality system support. This role involves collecting and analyzing production data, identifying trends, preparing quality reports, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The internship provides hands-on exposure to quality processes in a high-tech manufacturing environment, allowing the intern to develop practical skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

Assist in collecting, organizing, and validating production yield data from multiple sources.

Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.Support the quality team in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations related to yield performance.

Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to understand data requirements and ensure accuracy of collected data.

Participate in root-cause analysis activities by providing data-driven insights.Assist in maintaining documentation, data logs, and quality records in accordance with internal standards.

Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, yield, and process optimization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirement :
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
- Good organizational and time management skills

Basic knowledge of data analytics techniques

Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with data tools is advantage

Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Ability to interpret technical data and present findings clearly.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Interest in semiconductor, manufacturing, quality, or engineering environments.
- Candidate must have own transport and willing to working at Simpang Ampat, Pulau Pinang.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Data Analytics / Data Science or related fields.
