Job Summary: 

Advanced Energy is seeking an enthusiastic logistics intern to support the Logistics team, specifically in the area of export shipping. The intern will assist in handling shipping documentation, coordinating with freight forwarders, and ensuring compliance with customer and export requirements. This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing logistics environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in understanding and complying to LMW MY Customs regulation and compliance
  • Assist in understanding with customer shipping requirements and AE export guidelines based on ICPO/SO Shipping instruction or special instruction
  • Help generate and prepare shipping documents such as Delivery Notes, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists using SAP.
  • Support in shipment processing and updating records via internal systems and customer portals.
  • Liaise with selected freight forwarders based on Incoterms provided and shipment booking.
  • Help compile and scan all export shipping document copies after shipment execution and submit shipment reports on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining export shipment documentation for traceability and audit purposes.

 

Requirements:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

•    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.

  • Basic knowledge of logistics or shipping processes is an advantage.

• Candidate must have own transport and willing to working at Simpang Ampat, Pulau Pinang. 

 

 

Education:

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
