Job Summary: 

Facility intern will assist the Facility team in managing and maintaining company premises, equipment, and utilities to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment. This internship provides hands-on exposure to facility operations, vendor coordination, preventive maintenance, and workplace safety practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily facility inspections and report findings.
  • Support the coordination of preventive maintenance activities for office equipment, HVAC, lighting, plumbing etc.
  • Help manage facility-related requests from employees.
  • Assist in documentation and updating of facility-related records and maintenance logs.
  • Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and EHS standards.
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors during on-site works and inspections.
  • Support relocation or renovation activities.
  • Ensure safety compliance during maintenance activities. 

 

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of facility operations, building systems, or workplace safety is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, working independently and collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Candidate must have own transport and willing to working at Simpang Ampat, Pulau Pinang. 

 

Education:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Maintenance Management, Electrical Technology or related fields.
