The position will be responsible for the system integration and performance validation of new sensor products developed by Advanced Energy.  The position will work with Engineering to produce software to test and characterize subsystems and systems as needed during product development.  The position will devise and execute the system test plan to validate the performance of the product against the requirements.  The position will develop the software that will be used in production to calibrate and test the new products.




  • During Concept and Feasibility phase of project assist with breadboard experiment.
  • During Development phase of project devise test and characterize procedures for the subsystems and for the system.
  • During Development phase create calibration software that may be required for sensors during development.
  • During Development phase create system validation plan and any software required to complete the plan.
  • Execute the system validation plan.
  • During Transfer phase transfer and train Production in the use of calibration and test software.
  • Some travel may be needed




  • 2-5 years of prior experience in System Verification and Validation.
  • 2 – 5 years in software creation.
  • Experience with LabView is required.
  • Experience with C#.NET a plus.
  • Experienced with Electronics a plus.
  • Experience with Infrared Sensors a plus.
  • Experienced with image processing a plus.
  • Experiences in embedded systems a plus.
  • Experience with Python a plus.
  • Understanding of Sensor technologies.
  • Programming skills to create calibration and test programs.
  • Understanding of System Verification and Validation.




  • Bs in either Engineering, Science or Computers.




  • This position is located at our Milpitas, CA office.
