Title:  Warehouse Superintendent

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations at the manufacturing site, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely material handling, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role plays a critical part in supporting production by maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring the smooth flow of materials and finished goods.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping.
  • Supervise and develop warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training.
  • Ensure accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rate, and on-time shipments.
  • Manage warehouse budget and control costs related to labor, equipment, and supplies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, material handling equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
