Title:  Talent Acquisition Representative

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Representative  is an essential role to help meet the Company’s growing demand to hire top talent.   This is a key role responsible for using prior knowledge and best-in-class practices to find top talent for various organizations within Advanced Energy including Engineering and Industrial and Medical openings. This role will partner with HRBPs, Generalists, Managers, and other key stakeholders to create a sourcing strategy to fill open positions quickly and with qualified candidates.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop effective sourcing strategies and techniques using an appropriate combination of direct sourcing, social recruiting, referrals, and other relevant passive recruitment methods. 
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand the skills and background required for each opportunity, providing expert advice and coaching throughout the recruitment process. 
  • Actively utilize all recruitment channels to form a knowledge base of where to find the best candidates for each role in order to consistently generate a healthy pipeline of high-quality candidates. 
  • Review employment applications and resumes. Conducts phone screens and in-person interviews. Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews. Provides timely follow up and correspondence. Manages relationships with third party vendors. 
  • Apply principles of behavioral interviewing to access the qualifications of candidates. 
  • In partnership with the HR Generalist and Business Partner teams prepare attractive hiring packages, negotiate salaries, and communicate with selected applicants to offer employment. 
  • Participate in special projects and recruiting initiatives. 
  • Track record of success filling roles at all levels 
  • Develop and execute passive and active sourcing strategies for multiple, concurrent searches including the use of LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, campus recruitment efforts, etc. 
  • Identifies user groups and professional association which could lead to qualified candidates 
  • Apply recruiting best practices and knowledge to improve processes and services 

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an organization 
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize in a demanding, fast-paced environment 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to network and establish professional relationships 
  • Comfortable working in a global and multi-cultural environment focused on innovation, collaboration, and cooperation 

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 2 years of previous experience hiring for technical roles 
  • 5+ years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter 

 

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, human resources, or related field.
