Title:  Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Manager

The Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the manufacturing engineering team to develop, implement, and optimize production processes that ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role will drive continuous improvement initiatives, support new product introductions, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers, providing guidance on technical and professional development.
    • Develop and execute manufacturing engineering strategies aligned with business objectives.
    • Drive innovation in manufacturing processes and technologies.
    • Oversee design, implementation, and validation of manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
    • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
    • Partner with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to support product launches and process improvements.
    • Provide technical expertise during design reviews to ensure manufacturability.
    • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and capital projects.
    • Evaluate and recommend investments in equipment, tools, and technology.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing efficiency, cost, and quality.
    • Report progress and results to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 10+ years in manufacturing engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven experience in high-volume production environments.
    • Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process automation.
  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in CAD software, ERP systems, and manufacturing technologies.
    • Exceptional communication and project management skills.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Six Sigma Black Belt
