Title:  Sr. Logistics Specialist

The Senior Logistics Specialist plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations. This position is responsible for coordinating transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with logistics software, and a proven track record of improving operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
  • Optimize transportation routes and carrier selection to reduce costs and improve delivery performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure product availability.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight forwarders, and carriers.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for shipments, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.
  • Lead or support logistics-related projects, including system implementations and process improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior logistics staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and Incoterms.
  • Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS, WMS).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
