Title:  Manufacturing Technician

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for supporting daily production operations by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment. This role ensures products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and production lines according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Perform routine setup, changeovers, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting of equipment
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications
  • Document production data, downtime, scrap, and quality results accurately
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks and support maintenance activities as required
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards (5S, PPE, LOTO, etc.)
  • Identify and report equipment issues, process deviations, or safety concerns
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or technical certificate (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred)
  • Basic mechanical, electrical, or process knowledge
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and SOPs
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
  • Ability to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical degree or vocational training in manufacturing, mechanics, electronics, or related field
  • Experience with automated or semi-automated equipment
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement tools
  • Experience working in regulated environments (ISO, IATF, FDA, etc.)
