Title: Logistics and Customs Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
- Manage Customs affairs to ensures all activities are compliant :
• Direct, manage, and maintain overall customs compliance procedures to ensure all operations are in conformity with various rules and regulations.
• Is responsible for material & equipment & finished goods etc import/export operations with customs
• Define the clear instruction to import & export Bonded materials
• Have regular discussion with Customs to improve relationship
• Monitor / Analyze the variance between Customs contract balance and physical inventory balance
• Be responsible for coordinating the development of AEO
2. Manage Logistics for equipment, raw material and finished goods in and out of, and within Thailand
• Recommand optimium logistics flow for equipment, raw materials and finished goods
• Develop relationships with Global and Domestics service providers
• Manage the logistics spend budget
• Manage shipping process and adherence with local customs requirements
• Run selection process and RFQ for new logistics service providers
• Manage Logistics service providers KPIs
3. Co-ordinate with Government authorities to secure more benefits and supports :
• Have regular discussion with Government authorities to imrove relationship
• Co-ordinate with Govenrnment authorities to apply rebates
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Monthly monitor/analize the variance between customs bonded materials and physical inventory, reduce the gap and limit the impact .
2. Sort out and formulate customs related processes
3. Be responsible for coordinating and participating in the handling of customs inspection
4. Lead the recognition of AEO with team
5. Manage daily import/export operataions with customs
6. Managing customs related issues
7. Develop more declaration modes to provide lean process on supply chain
8. Lead the classification of China HS for bonded materials
9. Assistant for Government policy research and interpretation to apply suitable rebates
10. Supporting the maintaince with High Tech enterprise include patents
11. Manage Logistics service provider KPI & OTD
12. Manage monthly freight spend and accrual
13. Manage shipment escalations
14. Drives transit time and cost improvements
15. Run domestics logistics service provider RFQ and manage the onboarding process
16. Set up local shipping SOP
17. Ensure documentation retention adheance with local customs requipments
18. Other duties as assigned
SKILLS:
• Good analytical, writing, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Proactive and positive work attitude
EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
• 5 years above in logistics, operational experience.
• Good communication with Government authorities , especially with customs
• Experience with customs affairs and AEO recognition, familiar with relevant customs laws and regulations,especially for HS classification
• Experience in a processing Trade enterprise is preferred
• Ability to communicate with all levels in an organization
• Experience with management
