POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for high power PSU model development.  Customer spec review and topology secletion. PSU electrical circuit design and optimization. Work with CAD/ME/Magnetic team to complete schematic, mechanical packaging, thermal simulation and magetic parts design and optimization. Perform and instruct electrical engineers to complete circuit debug and testing. Meet the design requirements on schedule. Review and solve DFM issue, work with fty to solve manufacturing and factry test issues. Join design review meeting with customer and respond design requirements.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review customer specifications, decide the suitable topologies to meet the requirements.
  • Key circuit calculation and simulation, complete PSU schematic and key components select.
  • Magnetic design.
  • Work with ME to complete PSU packaging design.
  • PSU circuit debug.
  • Instruct and train junior electrical engineers to complete debugging and testing.
  • PSU design optimization to meet best performance and minum cost.
  • Support customer meeting and respond technical questions.
  • Support fty manufacturing and solve DFM issues.
  • Meet design schedule.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Electronic Engineering or related disciplines.
  • 12+ years’ experience in switching power supply hardware development.
  • Experience in design of switching power supply topologies: PFC, LLC, flyback, etc.
  • Proficient in magnetic design, such as power transformer, inductor.
  • Master at least one simuation/calcustion tools, such as MatchCAD, Simetrix/Simplis, PLECS to do the circuit calculation and simulation.
  • Familiar with power semiconductors characteristics and their applications, such MOSFET, diode, SiC diode/FET, GaN, etc.
  • Experience in PSU thermal and EMI designs.
  • Fluent in English, Madarin.
  • Accountable and self-motivated team player.
