POSITION SUMMARY:

Versatile Power has become a part of the growing Advanced Energy organization and we are excited to be seeking a talented and creative test engineer to work within a team developing medical devices and commercial power devices. This engineer will work closely with mechanical, software, and other cross functional engineers and contribute towards the design of new devices. This is a hands-on position. Demonstrated project leadership skills are required.  This position requires able to see their projects through from concept design to delivery and support of hardware. In addition, this person should show skills at teaching skills to others. This role will involve both design of new products and sustaining engineering on existing products. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience
  • Comprehensive engineering knowledge
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to read schematics
  • Ability to create and implement product test plans
  • Ability to use all common lab instruments
  • Experienced LabView programmer
  • Experience with Altium schematic
  • Mechanical design skills
  • Some C programming experience

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

 

COMPENSATION: $55,000 - $75,000/ year
