POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Automation Specialist will be responsible for the oversite of marketing automation system and strategy. The position will focus on building, strengthening, and protecting the Company’s brand globally through end-to-end project management of lead generation and CRM activities. This position will play an instrumental role in driving the adoption of marketing technologies and data analysis within the organization. These programs will be aligned with the Company’s go-to-market plans and are a key component to the overall marketing success. This role will be responsible for all aspects of the creation and execution of these programs, including setup, testing, lead management as well as measurement and analysis.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the Marketo administrator and SME within the organization, including best practices for marketing automation and integration with other core systems such as Salesforce.
  • Manage the technical aspects and implementation/enhancement of the Marketo marketing automation platform and act as the primary owner of campaign and lead management processes.
  • Management of the segmentation, growth, cleanliness, and health of the AE Marketo database.
  • Responsible for the design, execution and optimization of marketing automation programs including email marketing, campaign management and lead nurturing, scoring, and segmentation.
  • Act as lead generation knowledgebase. Monitor leads throughout their lifecycle and advocate for ever-improved nurture tactics. Act as primary point of contact for all lead management support with sales.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of email marketing best practices.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to support strategic objectives/KPIs, build reporting to analyze results, and recommend new programs and processes for revenue growth.
  • Compile, track, analyze, and present marketing campaign and attribution metrics.
  • Contribute to the total cross-functional effectiveness of the department, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive, engaged team member.
  • Manage or support special projects and other duties as required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-5+ years of experience in marketing automation and email marketing.
  • Strong understanding of Marketo and Salesforce (preferred) or other CRMs and how they integrate with marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of lead generation and online marketing strategy.
  • BA or BS degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Strong sense of what works in today’s online marketing environment and ability to learn and apply said knowledge quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, calendars, and tasks. Project management capabilities will be critical to success. Training facilitator to business users.
  • Ability to explain complex data in an understandable way.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Detail-oriented and results driven.
  • Dependable team player.
  • Ability to work with all levels and all regions of the company.
     

Compensation:   $70,000-95,000
