POSITION SUMMARY:        

Are you ready to lead, inspire, and shape the future of IT across Advanced Energy’s US manufacturing and office sites? As the North America Regional IT Manager, you’ll own technology operations and service delivery for multiple high-impact locations, partnering with business leaders to drive uptime, security, and innovation. You’ll lead a talented team, champion best practices, and play a pivotal role in our digital transformation journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead Regional IT Operations: Oversee day-to-day technology operations for US-based sites, ensuring world-class service, reliability, and security across endpoints, networks, identity, and collaboration platforms.
  • Build and Develop Teams: Recruit, coach, and empower site support specialists. Foster a culture of growth, engagement, and high performance.
  • Drive Strategic Projects: Partner with Operations, Facilities, EHS, and central IT to deliver projects that expand, modernize, and secure our footprint—supporting new lines, expansions, and acquisitions.
  • Champion Service Excellence: Implement ITSM best practices (ServiceNow), drive SLA/OLA attainment, and ensure clear, proactive communications with stakeholders.
  • Optimize Technology and Compliance: Oversee endpoint lifecycle, patching, and compliance (Intune, Tanium, GPO). Collaborate on network and security posture (Cisco, SD-WAN, NAC), and maintain robust identity/access management (AD, Entra ID, MFA).
  • Enable Business Growth: Support plant-floor compute and connectivity, partnering with manufacturing and engineering to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
  • Manage Budgets and Vendors: Own regional IT budgets (OpEx/CapEx), vendor relationships, and asset management.
  • Promote Safety and Audit Readiness: Ensure alignment with SOX, ISO, and EHS standards. Lead business continuity and incident response planning.
  • Measure and Improve: Track metrics (CSAT, MTTR, compliance) and drive continuous improvement.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Location: Fort Collins, CO
  • US-based, multi-site travel required; frequent presence on production floors and labs; PPE as required by EHS.
  • Occasional regional/international travel for training or project work.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hands-on expertise with Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365/Teams, AD/Entra ID, endpoint management, and campus networking/security
  • Proven ITSM discipline and project management skills
  • Availability for after-hours/weekend support as needed
  • ITIL® 4 Foundation, Microsoft AZ-104/MD-102, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+ preferred
  • Experience with privilege elevation tools (e.g., CyberArk), LAPS, and OT/IT collaboration preferred

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years progressive IT experience, including:
    • 3+ years in multi-site operations
    • 2+ years leading teams

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

 

COMPENSATION:                           

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting.  Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.  The range of starting pay for this role is $95,000 to $135,000 per year.
