A Test Engineer performs activities such as test, verification, modification, fabrication and assembly of electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment. The position performs a variety of technical, multi-disciplined tasks including timely remote site troubleshooting, flexible, universal tools and processes.  The Test Engineer makes knowledgeable, data-driven decisions and employs innovative technologies with optimal control and maximum speed and flexibility.



  • Responsible for design, construction, test,repair and calibration of test equipment.
  • Accurately estimate project costs as associated with implementing test solutions.
  • Owns the test requirements from the vendor to shipment to the customer.
  • Verify products meet their functional requirements - including design verification and manufacturing screens. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.
  • Analyze capabilities and ensure control of critical parameters of products and test equipment.
  • Communicates with service staff and managers regarding problems to provide information leading to root cause corrective action



Test Engineers regularly work in office, lab, and manufacturing facilities. Travel to international manufacturing and/or development locations may be required.      



  • Must have strong problem-solving attributes. 
  • Able to operate a variety of electrical test instrumentation. 
  • Capable in hardware and software development/modification. 
  • Strong at communicating with and influencing design teams, vendors, and customers.




  • 1-3 years of relevant Engineering or Engineering support roles. 
  • Proven ability to methodically solve complex, technical issues. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in NI LabView test application development.




  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline



  • 6-sigma or equivalent statistical, problem-solving methodology


COMPENSATION: $80,000 - $95,000
