Position Summary

PowerInsight by Advanced Energy is a cross-functional product that provide customer solutions for data visualization and predictive analytics to aid in maintenance, configuration, product health, and quality associated with using AE precision power products. At Advanced Energy, we rely on our dynamic team of engineers to solve the many challenges and puzzles that come with our rapidly evolving technical stack.

We are seeking a Software engineer who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that is always pushing boundaries. Here, you will take complete, end-to-end ownership of components across the entire stack. You will be joining a small team of engineers working at the forefront of new technology, solving the challenges that impact the way Advanced Energy products interact with customers, deliver amazing user experiences.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work across the full stack, building solutions that enable positive user experiences.
  • Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
  • Assume leadership of new projects from conceptualization to deployment.
  • Coordinate project technical aspects with other teams
  • Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.
  • Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities.
  • Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment.
  • Work With other parties to build end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale.
  • Work primarily in C#/.NET Core & JavaScript
  • Engage and collaborate with inspiring designers and software & firmware engineers, from multiple teams and locations.
  • Collaborate across time zones via Teams, JIRA issues, documents, and video conferences.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
  • 3+ years of experience building large-scale software applications with C#.NET backend. 
  • Experience building web applications.
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of C#, Angular, and Javascript
  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills
  • Unit/integration testing experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a globally distributed team
  • Maintain Interest in in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies to grow
  • Experience with embedded systems is strongly preferred
  • Know how of MS Azure services
  • Experience in Python & Linux will he helpful

 

Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000
