Title:  Electronic Engineer

Performs engineering work to identify and drive development of new aftermarket products, specifically with RF generators and matches.  Design, perform verification, execute validation on site at customer location. Works directly with customers and internal stakeholders to define needs/requirements for solutions.  The position interfaces with global regional commercial managers and development teams to provide solutions enabling growth in the aftermarket business.



  • Determines the scope and performance requirements for aftermarket products
  • Plan and execute assigned projects
  • Responsible for developing supporting performance collateral to drive qualification at global sites
  • Supports Field Sales, Applications Engineering, Field Service Engineering and global Repair Depots
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Works within standard office and engineering lab environment
  • Must be able to travel 5% of the time, including international sites



  • 3-5 years of engineering experience in a relevant position
  • RF design or application experience preferred
  • Receives assignments in the form projects with detailed requirements
  • Works on issues of diverse scope, requiring understanding of AE product technologies
  • Effectively communicate technical information/ideas to internal and external consumers



  • Must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
  • MSEE preferred


COMPENSATION:   As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado.  Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.  For the hires in the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $65,000 to $90,000 (put in range).   Information regarding additional benefits offered by Advanced Energy is provided below.
