POSITION SUMMARY:        

As a member of the Global services CM team your main responsibility will be to ensure the best CM process. The best CM process is one that can best:

• accommodate change

• accommodate the reuse of proven standards and best practices

• assure that all requirements remain clear, concise and valid

• communicate above promptly and precisely

• assure that the results conform in each case.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviews product ECO’s (Enterprise Change Order) to verify impact on service operations

• Create service kits (doc and BOM) for all product changes that impact fielded units and to determine if units are upgradable

• Acts as primary point of contact for all incoming service kit requests

• Responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining all service kit part numbers, associated BOM updates and kit documentation for all product changes affecting fielded units

• Reviews, tracks and ensures that Global Service Enterprise change Orders entailing service kits are completed in a timely manner. (service kit ECOs)

• Delegate tasks to others in order to institute an ECO

• Adhere to company quality processes and systems

• Must understand business unit needs and adjust workload priorities accordingly. Communicate with others the need to adopt an ECO change

• Provide training/information to AE personnel regarding ECO and Global Service policies and procedures

• Using Configuration Management guidelines coordinates the flow and completion of documentation associated with Enterprise Change Orders (ECO)

• Enforces the Copy Exact policy and other applicable AE policies.

• Act as the liaison between engineering, service operation, and customer support teams to communicate ECO changes.

• Provide Information to support product teams help maintain and update products

• Other Duties as assigned.

• Location: Fort Collins, CO

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to work with all levels of personnel with

• Excellent computer skills with the ability to adapt existing computer skill set to new computer programs.

• Ability to work effectively in a stressful or system-critical environment.

• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

• Ability to manage priorities and demonstrate a high level of initiative.

• Knowledge of ECO forms and documents (e.g., supplier notification form, supplier problem sheet, bill of material, engineering change notification)

• Knowledge of software programs (e.g., MS Office, SAP, iPro , , Adobe Acrobat)

• Understand OMSs and product drawings

• Knowledge of past, current, and planned/future AE products

 

EXPERIENCE:

• 1 - 2 years experience in Configuration Management and/or Customer Support and related fields such as production planning, material control, records and information management.

• Experience in applying data security and quality assurance processes, procedures and audits.

• MRP (SAP) training or background.

 

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Equivalent education and/or experience in related field

 

COMPENSATION:                           

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting.  Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $50,000 - $90,000 per year.
