POSITION SUMMARY:        

An SAP S/4HANA Architect designs, implements, and governs enterprise solutions, translating complex business needs into scalable S/4HANA architectures, focusing on S4 functional processes, integration with MES, PLM and other platforms, cloud platforms (BTP), data models, and best practices like Clean Core, leading transformation projects, and guiding teams on SAP roadmaps for digital transformation. Key responsibilities include requirement analysis, solution blueprinting, technical leadership, stakeholder management, and ensuring alignment with business strategy across functional areas such as Order to Cash (OTC), Supply Chain Operations (SCO), Plan to Produce (P2P) and Source to Pay (STP).

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Solution Design: Design end-to-end SAP S/4HANA solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and adherence to standards (Clean Core, BTP).
  • Requirements Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to understand needs and map them to SAP functionality.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide deep expertise on S/4HANA architecture, conversion, migration, and roadmap, guiding teams.
  • Governance & Standards: Define and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and methodologies.
  • Project Leadership: Lead complex implementation projects, manage risks, and collaborate with onsite/offshore teams.
  • Innovation: Drive research and propose new solutions using SAP technologies like BTP, Fiori, and Analytics Cloud.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Location: Denver, CO
  • Environment: Standard office environment

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Deep SAP S/4HANA Knowledge: Modules (FICO, SD, MM, PP), Business Technology Platform (BTP), Fiori, HANA database.
  • Architecture: Solution architecture, integration patterns, data modeling, landscape design, cloud integration.
  • Methodologies: SAP Activate, agile implementation approaches, project management.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years in SAP, with significant experience in S/4HANA implementations and transformations.
  • Proven track record leading complex projects from concept to completion.
  • Experience with large-scale digital transformations and cloud adoption.
  • Experience integrating S4 HANA with custom software applications such as CRM, MES and PLM

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

 

COMPENSATION:                           

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting.  Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.  The range of starting pay for this role is $130,000 to $175,000 per year.
