Title:  Senior Electronics Engineer

Versatile Power, (VP), an AE medical device division, focuses developing neuro-surgical equipment used throughout the world. VP is expanding market presence by developing new power electronics-based designs aimed at capturing this rapidly growing market, and we need to carefully grow our team within our small company culture. We are seeking a talented and creative senior power electronics engineer to work within our elite team. We feel very excited about our mission to develop technology that helps people, and we’re looking for team members to share in our passion.



  • Minimum of 8 years of power electronics design experience
  • Deep understanding of power electronics theories
  • BSEE, graduate degree strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience developing commercial products
  • Experience with magnetic device design, board layout, and modeling
  • Ability to work closely within a small, creative, fun team



  • Experience with Altium schematic and PCB design
  • Experience with Matlab
  • Experience with Ansys
  • Mechanical design skills



  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • MSEE or PhD - preferred
