For our Sales Team in Germany we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d)

 

Position Summary

Ideally located  in Frankfurt/Raunheim (optional as hybrid from a home office within Germany), the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for managing and developing a distributor network as well as selected direct accounts across the EMEA region, covering:


Nordics, UK & Ireland, Spain & Portugal, Benelux, Middle East, and Sub‑Saharan Africa.

 

The RSM drives new business development by identifying and qualifying direct opportunities, while also supporting distributors in developing opportunities across key industrial manufacturing markets, including glass production, steel and metal processing, petrochemicals, LED manufacturing, food safety, solar photovoltaics, and advanced temperature and fault‑monitoring systems.

This role requires regular international travel (approx. 30%).

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support distributors in identifying, qualifying, and developing sales opportunities across assigned territories.
  • Identify and pursue direct opportunities at existing and new target accounts.
  • Maintain regular interaction with distributors to stay current on customer issues; engage directly with customers when required.
  • Collaborate with Field Application Engineers, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure rapid response to opportunities and customer issues.
  • Develop and maintain detailed account profiles, including competitive landscape, decision makers, and opportunity pipeline.
  • Build and update account strategies and tactical plans.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts aligned with AE processes.
  • Travel internationally as required to support distributors and customers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

Work Environment

  • Additional Command of Arabic language

  • Experience in new business development in the Middle East
  • Work experience in serving target industries as stated in the Position Summary

 

Experience Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or advanced business degree or qualification in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering disciplines desireable
  • 5+ years’ experience in power electronics or related industries.
    (Preferred: SCR power controllers/thyristors, pyrometers, fiber‑optic sensors, petrochemical pyrometers.)
  • Proven experience selling or supporting high‑tech accounts through distribution/channel partners.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets with both strategic and hands‑on sales execution.
