Title:  Technical Support Engineer I

Responsibility:

  • Server North American, European, Asia Pacific customer in Chinese & English bilingual language at Call Center via phone, email or online chat for all Advanced Energy products, including technical or selling related query.
  • Identify & record coming query clearly, and response on time accordingly.
  • Provide technical documents and related information to customer.
  • Recognize customer real need and promote product & peripheral solution most fit for customer requirement.
  • Recommend our product cross to competitor’s, collect application/commercial information, track & follow up selling potential.
  • Support online remote/field trouble shooting for end customer.
  • Perform specific application test on AC/DC & DC/DC power supply, or even competitor’s according to various customize condition.
  • Power supply peripheral application circuit design, testing & document drafting.
  • PCB layout and mechanical drawing design.
  • Give product/application training and video/live demo to partners.

Requirement:

 1.Education/Training

  • Bachelor or above, major in Electrical or Electronic Project
  • CET6 or above

2.Experience (minimum required)

  • 3 years or above electronic product design or related tech-support experience is must
  • AC/DC or DC/DC power supply related experience preferred

3.Knowledge

  • Overcome difficulty to accomplish work independently
  • Competent to finish multi-task simultaneously
  • Circuit design & application ability
  • Good customer service consciousness
  • Good written & oral expression skill
  • Good elaborative faculty, especially for trouble shooting & critical issue
  • Proficient computer skill, like MS Word, Excel etc.
  • Good sense on teamwork, positive working attitude & sense of responsibility
  • Bilingual customer service experience preferred
  • Adaptable for night shift
